Carlos Ledo is the managing member of The Ledo Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Ledo focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Immigration Law, Tax Law, and Small Business representation. Below is a summary of the areas in which The Ledo Law Firm serves its clients.
Estate planning is the process of helping families protect their hard-earned assets by preparing for the unforeseen. A proper estate plan can provide emergency guardianship for minor children, establish an agent in case of incapacity, ensure the family home is secure, and passed on to the right beneficiaries when the time comes.
Elder law is an area of the law dedicated to ensuring the elderly receive the care they deserve. Principally, The Ledo Law Firm focuses on assisting seniors in qualifying for Medicaid and securing the assets they have spent a lifetime accumulating are not drained to cover nursing home bills. This service also includes the representation of veterans seeking the application of VA benefits to their long-term care costs.
The Ledo Law Firm assists individuals and families seeking to immigrate to the United States. In particular, The Ledo Law firm specializes in family-based petitions, fiancée visas, marriage visas, and adjustments of status. Additionally, The Ledo Law Firm represents individuals seeking asylum in the United States.
Like the old adage says, only two things in life are certain: death and taxes. On occasion, tax bills can get so high that it may lead an individual to a near-death experience. In these instances, The Ledo Law Firm can help reduce an individual's debt to the IRS via several taxpayers' debt resolution programs.
Small Business Representation
Every business can benefit from having an attorney either on retainer or as their in-house counsel. Unfortunately, the cost of having a full-time attorney can prove to be too costly for many small businesses. Fortunately, The Ledo Law Firm provides legal representation to small businesses at a fraction of what it would cost to keep a large law firm on retainer or hire a dedicated in-house counsel.
